My Chaotic Ramblings is a book and lifestyle review blog featuring honest reviews, bookish content, product recommendations, promotional posts, giveaways, and social media coverage.

Please include a clear subject line identifying the type of request, such as Book Review Request, Product Review Inquiry, Giveaway Collaboration, or Media Kit Request.
Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance or coverage. Each opportunity is considered based on availability, audience relevance, scheduling, and overall fit for the blog.
General Review Terms
All reviews published by My Chaotic Ramblings reflect my honest opinions and personal experience with the book or product.
Acceptance of a review copy or product does not guarantee:
A positive review
A specific rating
Coverage by a particular date unless agreed upon in advance
Publication on every social media or retail platform
Approval of review wording before publication
Review copies and products are provided in exchange for consideration only—not for a guaranteed favorable review.
Any gifted product, complimentary book, advance copy, affiliate relationship, sponsorship, or other material connection will be disclosed in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Items submitted for review become the property of My Chaotic Ramblings and will not be returned unless a written agreement is made before shipping.
If an item arrives damaged, is substantially different from what was agreed upon, or cannot be properly evaluated, I reserve the right not to publish a review.
Book Review Policy
My Chaotic Ramblings welcomes review requests from traditionally published, independent, and self-published authors, as well as publishers, publicists, and authorized representatives.
Accepted Formats
At this time, I am accepting physical and audio copies only.

Digital copies sent through direct messages
This policy helps protect authors and reviewers from potential piracy concerns.
Please do not email a digital copy unless it has been specifically requested or previously arranged.
Genres and Review Consideration
My Chaotic Ramblings primarily features romance and related fiction, including contemporary romance, dark romance, LGBTQ+ romance, romantasy, small-town romance, sports romance, omegaverse, romantic suspense, and other romance subgenres.
Books outside these categories may still be considered when they are a strong fit for the blog or my personal reading interests.
Before accepting a request, I may consider:
Genre and tropes
Content warnings
Publication date
Book length
Current review schedule
Whether the book is part of a series
Whether earlier books must be read first
Overall fit for my audience
Please include the book’s title, author, genre, tropes, synopsis, release date, content warnings, and any requested promotional dates in your initial email.
Review Timeline
Book reviews may take up to three months after the physical copy is received.
Advance copies and time-sensitive requests may be considered, but publication by a specific date is not guaranteed unless that deadline has been agreed upon before the book is sent.
Please do not send repeated follow-up messages requesting an immediate review. A confirmation or update will be provided when appropriate.
Ratings and Honest Reviews
Books are rated using a five-star system:
5 stars: Exceptional and highly recommended
4 stars: Thoroughly enjoyed with minor concerns
3 stars: Enjoyable overall but had noticeable issues
2 stars: Significant concerns affected the reading experience
1 star: The book did not work for me
DNF: I chose not to finish the book
When appropriate, romance books may also receive a separate spice rating.
All ratings and opinions are entirely my own. Authors, publishers, publicists, and representatives may not request that criticism be removed or that a rating be changed.
If I do not finish a book, I may choose not to publish a full review. Depending on how much of the book was read and the circumstances, I may instead share a brief DNF explanation or private feedback.

Reviews for books received through an approved review platform may also be submitted to that platform when applicable.
Posting on Amazon, Goodreads, or another third-party platform cannot be guaranteed because each platform maintains its own review policies, approval process, and content restrictions.

Series information, when applicable
Publication information
Format and review-copy source
Synopsis or book description
Tropes
Star and spice ratings
Content notes when appropriate
Purchase or preorder links

Once a review is published, a link may be emailed to the person who originally submitted the request.

Promotional participation does not automatically include a full review. Review requests and promotional requests should be clearly identified in the original email.
Product Review Policy
My Chaotic Ramblings may consider products that fit the blog’s bookish, creative, lifestyle, entertainment, stationery, coloring, planning, or personal-interest content.
Examples may include:
Bookish merchandise
Reading accessories
Stationery and planners
Art and coloring supplies
Subscription boxes
Home or lifestyle products
Technology or accessories relevant to readers and creators
Gifts and seasonal products
Product Requirements
A full-sized, usable product must be provided for review. Samples that do not allow for a complete and fair evaluation may not be accepted.
Products should generally have a retail value of at least $10, unless they are being considered for a gift guide, roundup, or specially arranged feature.
The sponsoring company is responsible for all product and shipping costs. My Chaotic Ramblings will not purchase a product in order to review it unless a separate reimbursement agreement has been made in writing.
Products sent for review become the property of My Chaotic Ramblings and will not be returned.
Product Review Timeline
Product reviews are generally published within two to six weeks after the item is received and tested.
Products requiring extended use may take longer. Seasonal deadlines or requested publication dates must be discussed before the item is shipped.
Receiving a product does not guarantee immediate publication or coverage by a specific deadline unless that date has been confirmed in writing.

Depending on the collaboration, coverage may include:

Original photographs
Social media posts
Stories or reels
Unboxing content
A link to the company’s website
Purchase information
Relevant social media links
Discount or coupon information
The exact coverage will be determined before the collaboration is accepted.
After publication, the sponsor will receive a link to the completed content.
Discount Codes and Sales
A coupon code or special offer may be included at no additional charge when it is directly connected to an accepted review or collaboration.
Requests to promote unrelated or future sales after the original collaboration has ended may be treated as sponsored promotional content and may require a fee.
Giveaways
My Chaotic Ramblings may host giveaways in collaboration with authors, publishers, publicists, brands, and other approved sponsors.
Giveaway Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated in the individual giveaway rules, giveaways hosted by My Chaotic Ramblings are open to eligible residents of the United States.
Age, location, and other eligibility requirements may vary depending on the prize and sponsor.
Each giveaway will include its own official dates, entry requirements, restrictions, and prize details.
Prize Fulfillment
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the sponsor is responsible for:
Providing the prize
Paying shipping costs
Shipping the prize directly to the winner
Handling lost, delayed, damaged, or undelivered packages
Complying with any applicable prize restrictions
My Chaotic Ramblings is not responsible for prize fulfillment when the prize is being supplied and shipped by a third-party sponsor.
The winner’s name, email address, and mailing information may be shared with the sponsor solely for prize fulfillment.
Giveaway Length and Promotion
Giveaways generally run for approximately one to two weeks, although the duration may vary.

Entries that violate platform rules, require a purchase, or encourage spam will not be accepted.
Winners will be selected randomly from eligible entries and contacted using the information provided. A new winner may be selected if the original winner does not respond within the timeframe stated in the giveaway rules.
Sponsored Content and Affiliate Links
Sponsored posts, paid promotions, advertising opportunities, and affiliate partnerships may be considered when they are relevant to the blog’s audience.
Payment does not guarantee a positive opinion or prevent honest commentary.
All sponsored content and affiliate relationships will be clearly disclosed.
My Chaotic Ramblings reserves the right to decline advertising, sponsorships, affiliate programs, or promotional requests that do not fit the blog’s content, audience, standards, or values.
Social Media Coverage
Social media promotion may include Instagram, Facebook, or other platforms currently used by My Chaotic Ramblings.
Not every collaboration will be promoted on every platform. The type and number of posts will depend on the agreement, content format, scheduling, and platform suitability.
Social media posts may be edited, archived, or removed at a later date as feeds and promotional schedules change. Permanent placement on a social media profile is not guaranteed unless specifically agreed upon.

Final Terms
My Chaotic Ramblings reserves the right to accept, decline, postpone, or discontinue any review, giveaway, promotion, or collaboration.
Requests may be declined when:
The book or product is not a good fit
Required information was not provided
The item differs from what was originally offered
The sender does not follow the agreed terms
The content creates legal, ethical, safety, or authenticity concerns
Communication becomes disrespectful, excessive, or inappropriate
Publication is no longer possible because of circumstances outside my control
Sending a book or product without prior approval does not guarantee a review, feature, return, or acknowledgment.
By submitting a collaboration request or sending an approved item, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this policy.
