I have seen this going around on some blogs, tumblr and even on facebook. I love music almost as much as I love books and you can always find me with my ipod while reading, so what better way to share another one of my loves?? I will also do something similar in a month or so with books ( no predetermined list though).
So for day one the prompt is
~~~~Your Favorite Song~~~
I don't think I really have a favorite song, I love so many and listen to them all on a regular basis, but my top three would have to be:
1: Lullaby by The Spill Canvas
There isn't a really great story as to why i like this song. Mainly it's because my ex used to play and sing for me all the time and the lead singer's voice reminds me of him and all the great times we shared.
2: What I Cannot Change by LeAnn Rimes
This song is one that my mom turned me onto. I love country and 9 times out of 10 it is my go to music, but this one really got me. It has helped me to realize that I am who i am and not everything needs to be changed.
3: Never Grow Up by Taylor Swift ( for the moment)
There are a few reasons that I love this song at the moment. One being my 3 little angels that are growing up more everyday and it terrifies me and makes me happy all at the same time. There are things in this world that I never want them to have to go through, but I know that eventually they will have to. Two, I remember being little with my mom and even though we live REALLY close to each other now, i still miss being with her at times.
