The husband and I had a week long vacation planned for our anniversary this year, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to cancel our plans and use the money saved to pay bills.
Seeing as our anniversary is this Monday {5-18-2020} we started planning out something more for July or August. We have to start saving up again, and now that neither of us have vacation time left we need to do something a little closer to home so we can do it over a weekend and not miss any work.
The plan is to rent a car and head down to Pigeon Forge on a Friday after work, it's only a 3 and a half hour drive from where we live, then get a hotel room till Sunday morning. Saturday will be spent doing a few touristy things in the area and then heading to the Hollywood Wax Museum after lunch. We have always wanted to go and do all the other fun things, but just never made a time to go. But this will be the perfect chance.
